Narrated by Game Director Andrew Willans, the video, which can be seen above, outlines what fans can expect from the Brawler in Hood: Outlaws & Legends. Whereas the Ranger takes foes down from a distance and the Hunter specializes in stealth combat, the Brawler goes in loud, focusing on ferocious melee attacks.

“His weapon is the hammer,” says Willans. “A deadly instrument capable of wide, sweeping attacks that can strike multiple enemies, or more precise, powerful overhead swings that can instantly kill the lesser-armored guards.”

Wrath is the Brawler’s ultimate ability. A berserker buff by any other name, Wrath allows the Brawler to overpower himself and wreak havoc on groups of enemies — all to some very bloody results (see 1:01 in the video above for a gnarly insta-kill example).

On top of that, the ultimate doesn’t just imbue the character with amazing strength; it also gives him “increased durability and infinite stamina.” These are perfect buffs for carving new paths through a map or closing them off, one of the class’ key team-centric roles.

Not everything is Hulk-smash with the Brawler, though. The class also comes equipped with a throwable bomb capable of taking enemies out from afar or disrupting patrol paths to gain the advantage.

Of course, players will be able to tweak the Brawler to best suit their playstyle with various unlockable perks, including some that make Wrath even more powerful or others that make stealing from the rich faster and more effective.
